Help & support

Answers to the most common questions are below. If you can't find what you need, write to us — a real person reads every message.

RelayNest support can't give medical advice. If someone is having a medical emergency, call 911. For questions about symptoms or medications, call the patient's care team or pharmacist.

Contact support

Email us and we'll reply by email. Include the email address you use for RelayNest and what you were trying to do. Please don't include medical details you don't need to share.

support@relaynest.app

We will never ask for your password or a two-factor code. For privacy and data requests, email privacy@relaynest.app.

Account and sign-in

I forgot my password

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and we'll email you a reset link. If you created your account with Apple or Google, use Continue with Apple or Continue with Google instead — there's no separate password to reset.

I didn't get the verification email

Check your spam or junk folder first. Then, on the verification screen, tap Resend email. You need to verify your email before you can use RelayNest or accept an invitation to a care workspace.

How do I turn on two-factor authentication?

Go to More → Two-factor authentication and follow the steps. You'll need an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, 1Password, or Authy. After that, signing in asks for the 6-digit code from the app.

I lost the phone with my authenticator app

Email support@relaynest.app from the address on your account. To protect your care information, we'll confirm it's really you before removing two-factor authentication, so this can take longer than other requests.

Why was I signed out?

To protect health information, RelayNest signs you out automatically after 15 minutes without activity. When you come back to the app, it may also ask for Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.

Care workspaces and family

How do I invite family members?

Open the care workspace, go to Care Circle, and tap Invite someone. Enter their email address and choose a role. They need to sign up with that same email address and verify it. Invitations expire after 14 days — you can send a new one at any time.

What can each role do?

How do I remove someone?

Owners can remove people from the Care Circle screen. Anyone who isn't the owner can also leave a workspace on their own.

Features

How does scanning discharge paperwork work?

Scanning uses AI to turn a photo or PDF into a draft medication list. AI features stay off until you allow them, and RelayNest explains what is shared before anything is sent. Results are drafts: nothing is added to the workspace until you review and approve it. You can turn AI features off any time in More → AI features.

How do I connect Apple Health?

Open the care workspace, go to Vitals & Labs, and tap the Apple Health sync button. RelayNest only reads measurements such as blood pressure, heart rate, and weight. To stop sharing, go to iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → RelayNest.

My notifications don't say much — is that a bug?

No, it's deliberate. Push notifications, emails, and texts only say that there's an update, so medication names and appointment details never appear on a lock screen or in an inbox. Open the app to see the details. Change what you receive in More → Reminder settings.

Privacy and your data

How do I delete my account?

Go to More → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and any workspace where you're the only owner, including its documents. Workspaces you share with another owner stay available to them. See our privacy policy for how long backups are kept.

Who can see my information?

Only the people you invite to a care workspace, according to their role. We never sell your information or use it for advertising. Our privacy policy has the full details.

Is RelayNest medical advice?

No. RelayNest helps families organize and share care information. It doesn't diagnose or recommend treatment — always follow the patient's care team.
